In housed designed and built, the Farmscan Ag UniPOD (also know as an ECU) is re-configurable to suit many different requirements. Our UniPOD series is a truly flexible solution for any control application. Our open protocol is available for use to develop or integrate into any application.

RE-CONFIGURABLE ECU

The UniPOD is re-configurable to suit many different requirements. Examples below.
SPRAY

A single UniPOD can be used to monitor pressure and control 12 Spray Sections, or 8 Spray sections plus dump and line valves and a bidirectional control valve.

To add more sensor inputs, sections or control valves, simply add one or more UniPODs to the CANbus line.

SEED

A single UniPOD can be used to control hydraulic drives, linear actuator, DC electric drives or liquid control. The UniPOD can also monitor ground speed, shaft feedbacks, fan speed, pressure and more.

To add more sensor inputs and controls, simply add one or more UniPODs to the CANbus line.

SPREAD

A single UniPOD can be used to monitor ground & spinner speed plus control a belt & spinner via hydraulics or actuators.

To add more sensor inputs, sections or control valves, simply add one or more UniPODs to the CANbus line.

STEER

Control a bidirectional PWM hydraulic valve while also controlling Load Sense, or a Voltage over Hydraulic valve. In-built control loops allow for open or closed-centre operation with a Wheel Angle Sensor.

Adjustable manual override is also in-built.
Safety road-mode lockout can be managed electrically.
